Make-up Show Live 2013 - REVIEW

Two weeks ago, I headed down to London town to attend the Make up show live @ The Hilton Metrapole.
I was given a press pass as a blogger and spoke to a lot of people about new products.

I purchased and tried a few so thought I'd give you my opinion on the brands I saw.

Cherry Coco.

This has to be my favourite out of them all, purely because of the products and how well my skin would take to them.
Cherry Coco specialise in hand-made body creams and soaps. I spoke to one of the girls at this stand and she was lovely, very down to earth and informative about the products.
Their soaps are very gentle, they do the cleaning job without stripping your natural oils, as well as adding moisture to the skin.
The body whips are lovely and rich, again so moisturising and the best part is that they're all natural and Preservative free.
Have a look at their products here as I promise they are worth a try.

Another brand I found really interesting was,

Diamond Blend

The "Cocktail of youth" All products are made from properties of Diamond and Marine Phytoplankton (known to be great for premature aging) claiming to help target the signs of aging. How fabulous.
Their products include the Diamond mineral face mask, eye patches, Feet, Elbows and Knee Lotion, Bio Gel Face Mask, Hand lotion and a 24hr Moisturiser.

I tried the Diamond mineral face mask on Friday night, I haven't seen any visible difference, but I will try the product again as I think you need to use them regularly to see a difference.

Lastly, one of my last favourites has to be..

MOTIVES

I love their products, I bought some to try before the show, when I saw the stand I was so happy as the Motives brand only sell online.
I had the chance to swatch the products.  I purchased yet another eyeshadow and the Lumiere de vie face cream (blogged about last week) This brand is my current favourite.

The girls at Motives were fabulous, so informing and welcoming. Thank you, ladies.

The show was great and directed to Women of Colour.
Some of the make-up brands such as Motives, Flori Roberts and Celebrity make-up artist AJ CRIMSON's products cater to darker skin tones. Something we seem to see less of in stores.

I had a great day, and hope to go back again next year.

Lotsa love Leesh of UnLeeshd x x x
